To improve literacy rates in low income and developing communities we need all the help and funds we can receive. There are several ways you can help us fund literacy resources for communities in crisis, in honour of Jane.

Become a volunteer

We are always looking for exciting new people who can help us behind the scenes to achieve our goals. As a volunteer, you will work alongside a passionate team and help us with our fundraising activities and marketing. If this sounds like you then we'd love to hear from you.

Make a donation

The Jane Austen Literacy Foundation is a not for profit organisation run entirely by volunteers with no wages or commissions paid to anyone. You can be assured that your donation will help fund literacy resources for communities in crisis. Pay securely online and in your own currency with our online PayPal system. Don't have a PayPal account? Don't worry, you can pay with your credit card.

To thank you for your donation, you will be rewarded with a unique and collectable Jane Austen Literacy Foundation bookplate. Each bookplate is personalised with your name and a unique serial number, issued for each donation. If you prefer, you can nominate another name to be printed on the bookplate to give as a gift.

HOST A FUNDRAISER

You might like to organise a Fundraising Event with your family and friends, book club, Jane Austen society or other groups. Speak with a Jane Austen Literacy Foundation representative to explore how we can work together. If you sell Jane Austen inspired fan fiction, merchandise or events, you can contribute to the foundation with our Janeite Profit Share Program.
