Nearly 45% of the population in Pakistan cannot read or write. Laaleen Sukhera, Founder of the Jane Austen Society of Pakistan, and her team work to raise money to buy reading and writing resources to support literacy programs in Pakistan.
OUR AUSTRALIAN CHAPTER
One in five Indigenous children in remote Australian communities cannot read to minimum standards in Year 3. Tully Smith and his team work to raise money to buy reading and writing resources to support literacy programs in the Northern Territory and far north South Australia.
